KLAR - a laundry detergent bottle

visual krav modelling modells prototyping prouves testing

This project was made in collaboration with a Norwegian supplier of consumer goods ‘Orkla’ for its environmentally-conscious line of household cleaning products ‘Klar’. The goal was to create a 500 ml laundry detergent bottle packaging for ‘Klar’ using a specific production method – plastic extrusion blow molding. The concept was about to create a bottle with a bobble form that reminds about product identity – clean, effective and careful. This project aimed to get experience from what is blow molding about. So it was rather focused on experiments to test out the limits of the production method rather than on results. My contribution to the project consisted in design research, concept development, sketching, industrial clay modeling, 3d prototyping, rendering and postproduction works with molding forms after CNC milling.
