XXX - automated waste sorting
This project we are currently working on up to the 1st March. It is a six-week project in a team of six design students (2 product designers, 2 service designers and 2 interaction designers). Collaboration partners for this project are Statens Vegvesen and Konsberg Innovasjon. Our goal is to create an automated waste sorting system – a solution for the future smart homes (housing cooperatives). Using systems oriented design methods and analyzing a huge amount of data, we have mapped out critical moments and possible ideas concerning the actual waste sorting systems. My contribution to the project consists in research, design analysis, concept development, ideation, critical reviewing for testing out the concepts, product design (moodboard, sketching, concept development for future waste bins, mockups, rendering).
